Cheap and easy parking near Chinatown

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

I went to the Chinatown on Tuesday after work. I discovered a good parking area but it must be at the right timing. I parked on George st just before the tram line right before 6:30PM. After 6:30 it becomes 4P parking until 10:30 and it only costs $1.10 per hour. Between 3:30 – 6:30, it is bus lane and before 3:30 it is loading zone. Because it is bus lane just before 6:30, generally there is no car parked on this lane.

So the next anyone wants to park nearby the Chinatown in the evening, be on the George st just before 6:30. If you happen to be early, stand near the UTS library or Market city; it’s only 5 minutes from there.
