A friend sent me slides of airport construction on a sea. Fascinating. The airport is being built in Japan from 2002 to 2005. You can see the slides here (650KB).

Mail merge from excel to word and preserve numeric format
Wednesday, September 29th, 2004I have recently built a sale database in Excel and merged it to Word to produce invoices. I faced one problem: how do I preserve the numeric format in Excel to Word? Normal mail merge ignores the formatting.
I searched for the solution in the web and came across a very useful document: www.pserie.psu.edu/compcntr/guides/MailMerge-XP.pdf. Exactly what I need. The solution turns out to be easy and can be done quickly but there is no common sense leading to the solution unless you know Word inside out.
Toyz shop for big boys
Friday, September 10th, 2004I have been stocking a number of electronic and computer goods for sale through Internet. I call these items big boy toys since they attract big boys more than girls.
The items include: iPAQ case, glossy photo paper, wireless keyboard and mouse and Guinness electric shaver.

Robbery on Meeks (again)
Friday, September 10th, 2004On Thursday night, around 10:45, a man was robbed on Meeks st. Kingsford. The incident happened in front of the apartment building number 65. Neighbouring residents heard the screams for help but the incident happened so quickly.
Few weeks ago, a female friend was assaulted and robbed by a group of teens while walking alone on Meeks st, between Harbourne and Forsyth.
Take care when walking on Meeks st. or surrounding Kingsford area at night. Avoid walking alone.
